Colonial Days

so every 4th of july weekend they have this thing called colonial days in downtown provo. its a "reenactment" of the early days of the founding. this year our ward got asked to volunteer at it. being a man of great stature, i was asked to hold down the fort at the stocks. as you can see, i performed my job with precision. there was no crime committed that night which went unpunished. nevermind the outfit, i was a fearsome sight to behold. none dared break the law on my watch

"you do the crime, you do the time!"

these are the rest of the members of my ward that helped out. it was actually pretty fun. luckily we got the night shift so it wasnt so bloody hot as it was during the day. they had different exhibits you could check out. there's a pretty cool museum there with lots of original printing press stuff (you know, the guttenburg guy)
