here's a little slice of sunshine for ya'll. its a poem i wrote back in the 4th grade to a girl i liked. i had a crush on this chick, mary eagle, for almost 3 yrs, and could never quite win her over. i wrote this to her on valentines day and gave her some candies and what not. she scoffed at it. i remember giving her a hershey kiss at recess and she stepped on it (symbolic of her stepping on my heart). anyways, here it is:
Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
I like you,
So we're the perfect two.
sheer magic penned on paper i tell ya. what little 10 yr. old girls heart wouldnt melt if they got something like that in elementary, or even today? obviously hers b/c she crumpled it up and tossed it away (along with my hopes and dreams).
a really random post i know, but i thought i'd share with ya'll what a lyricist i am. "we got bill shakespeare over here? well laddy freakin dah!"
i got no food, i got no job. my pets' heads are fallin off!
